Deck overview

Zurgo and Ojutai is a Jeskai Dragon beatdown deck that uses the commander's haste and combat trigger to draw a critical mass of Dragons. The primary plan is to ramp early, cast Zurgo on turn 3-4, attack immediately, then deploy Dragons with haste enablers and finish with Dragon Tempest plus Ancient Gold Dragon's token burst. Secondary paths include Dragonhawk's exile-burn, Velomachus Lorehold's free spells, and Terror of the Peaks/Twinflame Tyrant damage doubling. The commander is a draw engine, not a required finisher, so the deck can still function as a Dragon deck. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around the Dragon type.
