Deck overview

Ashling, the Limitless commands a 5-color Elemental tribal deck designed to abuse cost-cheating and enter-the-battlefield doubling. By granting all Elemental permanent spells cast from hand an evoke cost of {4}, Ashling allows expensive, high-impact Elementals to be cast at a heavy discount. When an evoked Elemental enters, its trigger fires before it is sacrificed to evoke; Ashling then triggers upon sacrifice to create a hasty token copy, firing the enter-the-battlefield ability a second time. Utilizing cards like Sundial of the Infinite to end the turn before the delayed sacrifice trigger resolves allows the deck to keep massive token copies permanently without paying {W}{U}{B}{R}{G}. The deck accelerates through specialized mana dorks like Smokebraider, chains card advantage through Mulldrifter and Risen Reef, and closes games with overwhelming combat damage and burn from Omnath, Locus of Rage, Titan of Industry, and Avenger of Zendikar.
