Deck overview

This is a Mardu enchantment-centric deck helmed by Ghen, Arcanum Weaver, designed to exploit the graveyard as a resource by sacrificing enchantments to recur them. The primary game plan is to establish a pillowfort of defensive enchantments (Ghostly Prison, Sphere of Safety), generate value through enchantress effects (Mesa Enchantress, Ashiok's Reaper), and eventually overwhelm opponents with an army of tokens from Sigil of the Empty Throne, Archon of Sun's Grace, or by animating enchantments via Starfield of Nyx. The deck also runs a suite of curses and punishment effects to control the board and drain life. It has no infinite combos, relying on incremental advantage and combat to close out games. The commander provides a reusable recursion engine, but the deck can function without him thanks to Starfield of Nyx and Sevinne's Reclamation.
