Deck overview

This is a five-color Phyrexian tribal deck helmed by Valko Indorian, whose Rulebreaker ability unlocks Phyrexian cards and basics of every color. The commander's menace-and-lifelink anthem transforms the deck's Phyrexian swarm into a hard-to-block combat force while gaining life to offset the deck's heavy self-payment (K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, Bolas's Citadel, phyrexian mana). The primary plan blends three engines: a deep proliferate/oil package (Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Atraxa, Praetors' Voice, Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres, Thrummingbird) that grows poison toward the infect win via Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, Inkmoth Nexus, and Vraska, Betrayal's Sting; a reanimation suite (Reanimate, Animate Dead, Necromancy) that cheats out the Praetors; and a tutor backbone (Diabolic Intent, Pyre of Heroes, Buried Alive) that finds the right piece for the current game state. This is a midrange value pile that wins by accumulating poison and overwhelming combat.
