Hobbit Precon - Greenwood the Great (Thranduil) by Chunderstorm

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Sultai Elf tribal deck that goes wide and wins through combat or drain. Thranduil, the Elvenking copies all activated abilities of Elf cards in your graveyard and draws cards when another legendary Elf enters, so you fill the graveyard with mill and tutors and then use the graveyard as a toolbox. Lords and token makers build a large board, mana Elves accelerate, and recursion keeps the board resilient. A secondary infinite-mana line exists with Thranduil copying Immaculate Magistrate to untap Devoted Druid, but the main plan is Elf swarm with anthem and overrun effects.
