Deck overview

Ultron the Annihilator commands a fast mono-black combo deck that combines artifact aristocrats, graveyard reanimation, and infinite spellcraft loops. The deck uses explosive black mana acceleration and efficient unconditional tutors to deploy decisive win conditions as early as turn four. Its premier win condition unites Professor Onyx and Chain of Smog to drain all three opponents from full health in a single turn through repeated Magecraft triggers. In reserve, the deck features redundant graveyard combos powered by Necrotic Ooze and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed persist loops. The commander generates artifact tokens on entry and attack while passively draining opponents whenever artifacts go to the graveyard. Proactive hate creatures like Opposition Agent, Dauthi Voidwalker, and Orcish Bowmasters severely disrupt opposing development, while a rich suite of low-cost reanimation spells guarantees rapid recovery from board wipes. The deck executes with lethal speed, though its primary combo line remains vulnerable to instant-speed removal and counterspells.
