Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai aggro-control engine led by The Wise Mothman, blending mill strategies with aggressive +1/+1 counter distribution. It applies steady pressure through radiation counters, which force all players to mill cards and take damage during their precombat main phases. Each nonland card milled triggers Mothman to grow your creatures, rapidly creating massive evasive threats. The deck supports this aggressive core with high-impact payoffs like Consuming Aberration, Syr Konrad, the Grim, and The Mindskinner. Efficient countermagic and tailored protection spells—such as Ripples of Potential and Mutational Advantage—shield your modified creatures from opposing interaction. Additionally, the deck features recursion engines like Muldrotha, the Gravetide and an incidental infinite win condition in Duskmantle Guildmage plus Mindcrank, offering versatile paths to close games.
