Format: Commander

Commander: Talion, the Kindly Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Talion, the Kindly Lord leads a Dimir draw-go control shell that turns opponent spell patterns into cards and life loss. The primary plan is to hold up counters and instant-speed removal while flash enablers (Leyline, High Fae Trickster, Teferi) let the deck act on every turn; Nymris and Wavebreak Hippocamp turn those off-turn spells into extra cards. Winning usually comes from a late combo: Tidespout Tyrant looping Mox Amber creates infinite cast triggers/mana, finished with Tendrils of Agony or Black Mage's Rod pings. Secondary paths are the commander plus flying beaters (Hammerhead Tyrant, Hullbreaker) and Psychosis Crawler draining off repeated draws. No hidden commander; Nymris is the principal faerie lieutenant.
