Deck overview

The Lord of the Eagles is a tempo finisher for a Bird/flying beatdown shell. The deck floods the board with cheap Birds and flyers to lower the Commander's cost, protects them with counterspells and hexproof, then swings with a discounted 8/8 plus a token swarm. Secondary paths include a Hermes, Overseer of Elpis / Knightfisher engine that turns noncreature spells into Bird and Fish tokens, and an Omniscience + draw-spell endgame that empties the hand and closes with a mass flyer swing. Hermes acts as a hidden commander/token engine, while Wan Shi Tong, Librarian offers a burst draw option. The plan is aggressive, stack-interactive, and heavily reliant on maintaining flying power.
