Deck overview

Adrix and Nev, Twincasters helms a Simic Merfolk and Sea Creature token deck designed to overwhelm opponents with doubled creature armies and unblockable combat pressure. The deck establishes early mana using ramp spells like Explore, Growth Spiral, and Cultivate, quickly deploying its commander alongside token generators such as Deeproot Waters, Deeproot Pilgrimage, and Master of Waves. Once assembled, the deck floods the battlefield with doubled Merfolk, Serpents, and Krakens. It converts opposing lands into Islands with Spreading Seas and Aquitect's Will, enabling unblockable attacks through Master of the Pearl Trident and Streambed Aquitects. Draw engines like Kindred Discovery, Bident of Thassa, and Hakbal of the Surging Soul ensure continuous card advantage. While vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and lacking spot creature removal, the deck leverages high creature redundancy, ward protection, and top-end threats like Koma, Cosmos Serpent to close games by Turn 8.
