Format: Commander

Commander: Zilortha, Strength Incarnate

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Zilortha, Strength Incarnate commands an aggressive Gruul stompy deck that converts glass-cannon creatures with massive power and low toughness into resilient combat threats. By modifying lethal damage to be evaluated against power instead of toughness, Zilortha allows aggressive beaters like Nova Chaser, Ball Lightning, and Thunderblust to survive trades in combat. The primary path to victory involves ramping into high-power creatures, establishing board advantage with power-based card draw, and granting haste via Rhythm of the Wild or Rising of the Day to overwhelm opponents through combat damage. Secondary win lines use explosive burn outlets like Chandra's Ignition, Warstorm Surge, and Fling to bypass defenses.
