Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aristocrats strategy commanded by Teysa Karlov. It focuses on building a resilient engine of sacrifice outlets, recursive creatures, and death-trigger payoffs. Teysa Karlov doubles every creature death trigger, rapidly multiplying card draw, token generation, and opponent life drain. The deck develops early mana and token producers such as Bitterblossom and Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, transitions into card engines powered by Skullclamp and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, and establishes a decisive board presence around Turn 6. While it can assemble an infinite drain loop using Warren Soultrader, Gravecrawler, and a drain payoff like Blood Artist, its primary path to victory is sustained life drain backed by mass recursion spells like Faith's Reward. It controls opposing creature threats using targeted removal and repeatable edicts, creating a difficult board state for creature-dependent opponents while protecting its own pieces with Selfless Spirit and graveyard recursion.
