Format: Commander

Commander: Jin Sakai, Ghost of Tsushima

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Jin Sakai is a voltron-plus-value Esper commander: the deck casts Jin early, attacks alone to draw and to give itself either double strike or unblockable, then turns him into a one-shot 21-commander-damage threat with Colossus Hammer, Blackblade Reforged, All That Glitters, and Idolized. Ardenn, Puresteel Paladin, and Sovereigns of Lost Alara cut equip/aura costs, while Satoru Umezawa, Yuriko, and Medomai form a ninjutsu/extra-turn secondary path. There is no double-faced commander; Satoru is the closest thing to a hidden sub-commander. Most games are won by killing each opponent with a single unblockable double-strike Jin swing.
