Format: Commander

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Goblin/Orc/Army aggro deck built around The Great Goblin. The commander turns every amass or +1/+1 counter event into 2 damage to an opponent, while its death-trigger exile effect keeps the hand full as goblins churn through combat. The primary plan is to go wide quickly with Krenko, Mob Boss, Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin, and amass spells, then finish through Assault on Osgiliath, Bolg, Erebor's Reckoning, or a single massive TGG trigger storm. With a low 2.95 average mana value and support engines like Gev, Scaled Scorch and Mauhur, Uruk-hai Captain, the deck plays as a mid-speed tribal value deck rather than a combo deck.
