Deck overview

This is a Gruul fight-Voltron deck built around Wolverine, Best There Is. The plan is simple and aggressive: cast Wolverine early, force him into repeated fights so his damage-doubling and end-step +1/+1 trigger snowball, then close with enormous doubled combat damage, double-strike equipment, and one-shot finishers. A dense package of fight spells doubles as both removal and growth fuel, while counter multipliers (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, The Ozolith) and power doublers (Xenagos, God of Revels, Unnatural Growth, Temur Battle Rage) push lethal math quickly. Secondary paths include Chandra's Ignition or Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar turning a single oversized hit into a table-wide elimination, and Brash Taunter redirecting fight damage. The deck plays as a proactive midrange Voltron strategy that answers the board by punching it and grows its commander in the process.
