Deck overview

This is a mono-blue spellslinger control deck helmed by Eluge, the Shoreless Sea. The primary game plan is to deploy Eluge to generate flood counters on lands, turning them into additional Islands, then leverage the cost reduction on the first instant or sorcery each turn to chain spells cheaply. The deck wins through incremental token generation from Talrand, Sky Summoner, Shark Typhoon, and Mischievous Mystic, or by stealing opposing permanents with Blatant Thievery, Mass Manipulation, and Clone Legion. A single extra-turn spell, Time Stretch, provides the finishing macguffin, often copied via Mnemonic Deluge to take three extra turns and overwhelm the table. The deck is a classic draw-go control shell with a dense interaction suite, aiming to outlast opponents and then close with a burst of extra turns.
