Commander: Sonic the Hedgehog

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Sonic the Hedgehog leads a haste-and-flash aggro deck built around his attack trigger: every swing stacks +1/+1 counters on creatures with flash or haste, while self-damage spells convert that board into Treasures. The plan is to out-tempo with Knights and Dragons, then cash the Treasure engine into one of several alternate win conditions: Mechanized Production, Hellkite Tyrant, or Knuckles the Echidna. Aurelia and extra combat effects double Sonic's triggers. There is no true hidden commander; Storm the Vault acts as an additional artifact engine in the 99. The deck is fast when its engine cards arrive, but it lacks reliable tutoring and can stumble on tapped lands.
