Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black discard and resource denial strategy commanded by Tinybones, Bauble Burglar. The primary game plan focuses on stripping cards from all opponents simultaneously using low-cost creatures like Burglar Rat and persistent enchantments such as Oppression. Tinybones, Bauble Burglar breaks the symmetry of these discard effects by exiling the discarded cards with stash counters, allowing you to cast them using mana of any type. Meanwhile, payoff cards like Waste Not, Liliana's Caress, and Painful Quandary convert opposing discards into mana, creature tokens, card draw, and heavy life loss. Once opponents are empty-handed and locked under continuous taxes, the deck finishes the game using large life-drain spells such as Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Exsanguinate, or by attacking with evasive threats like Aclazotz, Deepest Betrayal and stolen opposing creatures. The list features dense enabler redundancy and powerful asymmetric attrition, though it relies on natural draws to find its specific closers.
