Deck overview

This deck is commanded by Marvo, Deep Operative and focuses on cheating massive, high-impact spells into play ahead of curve. The strategy leverages the clash mechanic on Marvo's attack trigger, which compares the top card of your library against defending players. Because the 99 is saturated with high-mana-value Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and game-warping sorceries, Marvo reliably wins clashes to draw extra cards and cast spells up to 8 mana for free. Topdeck manipulation tools like Sensei's Divining Top and Scroll Rack guarantee clash victories and organize expensive payoffs from hand. The deck transitions into the late game by deploying overwhelming board presences such as Spawning Kraken, Stormtide Leviathan, and Breach the Multiverse, locking down ground combat and overwhelming the table through massive sea monster beatdown across multiple attack rotations.
