Deck overview

This deck is a Simic +1/+1 counters aggro strategy led by Ezuri, Claw of Progress. The game plan revolves around deploying low-power creatures to accumulate experience counters rapidly. Once Ezuri enters the battlefield, he transforms these small utility creatures into massive threats by placing +1/+1 counters at the beginning of each combat. Mana dorks like Kami of Whispered Hopes and Incubation Druid scale their mana production directly with their power, accelerating the deck into game-ending overrun effects such as Overwhelming Stampede and Return of the Wildspeaker. Combat damage engines like Cold-Eyed Selkie and Reconnaissance Mission keep hand sizes full, while Wave Goodbye acts as a one-sided board wipe that bounces opposing blockers. Although vulnerable to well-timed creature sweepers and lacking dedicated creature tutors, the deck recovers swiftly because experience counters persist on the player throughout the game.
