Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Jund midrange engine built around -1/-1 counters, token production, and aristocrats drain. Commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch, the deck turns every -1/-1 counter placed into steady card draw and direct opponent life loss. In the early game, cheap mana dorks and artifacts accelerate Auntie Ool onto the battlefield by Turn 3. Token generators like Nest of Scarabs and Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons convert every counter into creatures, feeding sacrifice outlets such as Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and looping with Blowfly Infestation. The deck stifles opposing boards through asymmetric attrition pieces including Maha, Its Feathers Night and Kulrath Knight. It closes out games on Turn 5 or 6 by executing an infinite drain loop or overwhelming the table with drain triggers from Blood Artist and Obelisk Spider.
