Deck overview

The Great Goblin leads a dedicated competitive Rakdos turbo-combo deck focused on executing rapid, resilient creature-based win conditions. Powered by a high density of fast mana, rituals, and unconditional black tutors, the deck consistently races toward a Turn 3 victory. Its primary route utilizes Goblin Recruiter to stack Conspicuous Snoop, Torch Courier, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, and Mogg Fanatic, generating infinite hasty Snoop copies that sacrifice themselves to burn the entire table in a single turn. Secondary win paths center on Underworld Breach storm lines, Ad Nauseam bursts, and infinite Persist loops pairing Putrid Goblin or Murderous Redcap with counter negators like Metallic Mimic, First Day of Class, or Thran Vigil alongside sacrifice outlets. The commander provides incidental card advantage from dying Goblins and turns counter placements into burn damage. Defended by free interaction and anti-counter measures like Hexing Squelcher and Defense Grid, the deck consistently applies lethal pressure.
