Deck overview

This is a mono-red burn/pingers deck helmed by Thor, Asgard's Avenger, a 4/4 flyer that turns every damage source you control into a slightly bigger threat by adding 1 to each point of damage. The primary game plan is to deploy a critical mass of cheap creatures that deal 1 damage on a trigger-Firebrand Archer, Sawblade Scamp, Devoted Duelist-and then cast Thor to turn each ping into a 2-point chunk. Direct damage spells like Shock and Lightning Strike double as removal and reach, while Blasphemous Act and Choco-Comet can sweep the board or finish opponents. The deck relies on incremental pressure and has no infinite combos; its secondary win condition is to grind out value through Return the Past for flashback recursion and Goblin Dark-Dwellers to re-cast cheap burn.
