Gin Sakai by ShatteredHeathen

Format: Commander

Commander: Jin Sakai, Ghost of Tsushima

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Jin Sakai, Ghost of Tsushima is a low-curve Esper tempo deck that pairs a clean Consult/Thoracle combo with a fully supported equipment/combat package. Jin's role is card draw and selective evasion: attacking alone gives double strike or unblockable, enabling Buster Sword and The Key to the Vault to chain into free spells. The hidden commander is Squall, SeeD Mercenary, who doubles the lone-attacker theme and recurs cheap permanents. The deck tries to win on turn three or four with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact plus Thassa's Oracle, but if that route is interrupted, Jin or Squall carrying swords and extra combat effects can close the game.
