Deck overview

This deck leverages the unique 'any number' deckbuilding clause of Cid, Timeless Artificer to create a relentless artifact aggro engine. By running 15 total copies of Cid, the deck achieves exceptional consistency without needing excessive noncreature tutoring. Early turns focus on establishing cheap artifact ramp, cost reduction, and token generators such as Sai, Master Thopterist and Illustrious Wanderglyph. As duplicate Cids are cycled for card draw or played and sent to the graveyard via the legend rule, every Artificer on the battlefield and in the graveyard provides a cumulative +1/+1 buff to all artifact creatures. The game reaches critical onset around Turn 5 through explosive turns enabled by Thrumming Stone or mass reanimation via Ascend from Avernus. Evasive finishers like Akroma's Will, Wonder, and Cyberdrive Awakener quickly translate this immense power into a table-wide knockout by Turn 6.
