Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Landfall engine commanded by Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. The strategy focuses on accelerating mana through land-based ramp, playing extra lands each turn, and drawing deep into the library through landfall triggers. By turns 4 and 5, the deck establishes an insurmountable mana and card advantage engine. On turn 6, it transitions from resource accumulation to critical onset by casting massive token producers such as Avenger of Zendikar and Titania, Protector of Argoth, or overwhelming resource sinks like Genesis Wave. It closes the game on turns 7 to 8 through overrun effects like Overwhelming Stampede or extra-turn tempo from Time Stretch. While the deck is resilient against single-target removal due to its permanent land base, it carries high mana requirements for its reactive interaction and relies on combat to eliminate the table.
