Deck overview

This is a Jeskai spellslinger/combat-value deck helmed by Massimo, the Magician, who turns every creature you control into a cheap-spell-copying engine. The primary game plan is to deploy small, unblockable creatures (Invisible Stalker, Slither Blade, Mercurial Spelldancer), exile a 1-mana instant or sorcery from the graveyard with Massimo's ETB trigger, then connect in combat to copy that spell for free. The deck leans heavily on looting/cantrip selection to fill the graveyard and find key pieces, then uses extra combat effects (Great Train Heist, Combat Celebrant) to chain multiple copies in a single turn. Secondary win conditions include pinging opponents with Vivi Ornitier's triggered damage, swarming with token makers (Monastery Mentor, Third Path Iconoclast), and ultimately burning the table out with repeated copies of Boltwave or Lightning Bolt.
