Deck overview

This Temur Dragon deck uses Ureni of the Unwritten to cheat colossal flying threats directly into play. The game plan accelerates through 1-2 CMC mana rocks and land ramp spells during early turns, establishing a robust mana base to cast Ureni on Turn 5. Upon entering the battlefield and attacking, Ureni digs eight cards deep to place massive Dragons like Atarka, World Render, Terror of the Peaks, and Old Gnawbone directly onto the battlefield for free. Haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and Temur Ascendancy allow these threats to strike immediately, creating an overwhelming air force that eliminates opponents in quick succession across two combat cycles. The deck features functional instant interaction and countermagic to protect critical turns while relying on high threat density to overwhelm opposing answers.
