Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Jund midrange strategy built around -1/-1 counter proliferation, creature theft, and board attrition. Led by The Reaper, King No More, the deck uses low-cost ramp to deploy its commander and token engines like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and Nest of Scarabs by Turn 4. On Turn 5, it transitions into board control using Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Maha, Its Feathers Night, or Kulrath Knight to lock down opposing creatures, wipe blockers, and steal eliminated threats. Over the following two turns, an expanding army of tokens attacks while Obelisk Spider, The Meathook Massacre, and All Will Be One drain life totals to close out the game by Turn 7. The deck boasts immense creature suppression, repeatable card advantage, and smooth recovery, but it lacks stack interaction and remains vulnerable to noncreature combo strategies.
