Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Voltron and Infect strategy piloted by Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon. Its primary objective is to accelerate into Skithiryx, grant it haste, and buff its power to deal 10 lethal poison counters in one or two attacks per player. The deck supplements this aggressive line with a package of small toxic/infect creatures and proliferation spells like Contagion Clasp, Drown in Ichor, and Karn's Bastion, allowing it to close games from afar once poison counters are placed. While the commander's flying and regeneration offer resilience, the deck's single-target combat orientation forces it to eliminate opponents sequentially, giving surviving players windows to interact.
