Deck overview

This Nekusar, the Mindrazer deck is a high-velocity Grixis wheel burn archetype designed to punish card draw and eliminate all three opponents simultaneously. Supported by format-staple fast mana artifacts and rituals, the deck accelerates into draw-punishment permanents such as Nekusar, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and Underworld Dreams. Once a punisher is active, resolving symmetry-breaking wheels like Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, and Dark Deal deals massive burst damage while refilling the pilot's hand. High-octane value engines like Waste Not convert opposing discards into mana and zombie armies, frequently enabling storm turns with Underworld Breach. The list features a robust interaction suite anchored by five zero-mana counterspells and deflections, ensuring the critical combo turn is heavily insulated against opposing disruption. While vulnerable to well-timed instant-speed creature removal before a wheel resolves, the deck's dense redundancy across pingers and wheels provides reliable lethality by Turn 5.
