Format: Commander

Commander: Teval, the Balanced Scale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Teval, the Balanced Scale leads a Sultai graveyard and landfall strategy focused on milling cards, ramping lands from the graveyard, and generating token armies. The primary plan uses self-mill tools like Grisly Salvage, Life from the Loam, and Teval's attack trigger to fill the graveyard. From there, the deck ramps rapidly with land recursion spells like Summon: Titan and Will of the Sultai. The deck secures victory by converting large boards into lethal combat swings using Craterhoof Behemoth, or through massive burst damage by sacrificing giant threats like Lord of Extinction and Jumbo Cactuar to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord.
