Deck overview

This five-color Commander deck is led by Azlask, the Swelling Scourge, focusing on aggressive Eldrazi Spawn and Scion token generation, aristocrat sacrifice synergies, and explosive combat finishes. The deck uses efficient mana dorks and land ramp to establish its commander by Turn 3 alongside high-output token creators like Writhing Chrysalis, Catacomb Sifter, and Path of Annihilation. Sacrificing colorless tokens generates burst mana while stacking experience counters on Azlask. On Turn 5, paying {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} buffs the entire board with massive +X/+X boosts and grants Scions and Spawns indestructible and Annihilator 1, forcing catastrophic board sacrifices and eliminating opponents across one to two combat cycles. If combat stalls, the deck can pivot smoothly into aristocrat drain loops with Mirkwood Bats and Zulaport Cutthroat, or execute an infinite creature and mana loop using Basking Broodscale and Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest.
