Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Temur Voltron and +1/+1 counters deck helmed by Me, the Immortal. The primary strategy leverages dense fast mana and efficient mana dorks to deploy the commander on Turn 3 alongside counter enhancers such as Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, and Innkeeper's Talent. Because Me retains all counters across death and exile, every counter placed is a permanent investment that survives board wipes and removal. The deck accelerates into a critical must-answer threat by Turn 5, eliminating opponents sequentially through large commander damage swings backed by evasion counters or sweeping the board with Chandra's Ignition. A suite of free counterspells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat shields the commander from exile and bounce effects. If the commander is unavailable, independent powerhouses like Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes and Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider maintain heavy pressure.
