Commander: Kefnet the Mindful

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-blue combo-control deck built around Kefnet the Mindful as a draw-and-land-bounce engine. It wants to stall with cheap countermagic, tax effects, and card draw, then assemble one of several compact mana loops: Valley Floodcaller plus Retraction Helix and Mana Vault, Isochron Scepter plus Dramatic Reversal, or Hullbreaker/Tidespout bounce chains. Those loops convert into a Thassa's Oracle win after emptying or drawing the library, or into a consecutive-turn lock with Mystic Sanctuary. The commander also provides a secondary beatdown path once seven cards are held. There is no double-faced commander and no hidden commander; Kefnet is the sole general, though not every line depends on him.
