Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red aggressive midrange strategy centered on Smaug the Magnificent. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Treasure generators during the early turns to build an artifact stockpile and accelerate the commander onto the battlefield on Turn 4. Because Smaug has native flying and haste, he attacks immediately to trigger direct damage scaled to your Treasure count. In the midgame, the deck leverages damage enhancers like The Rollercrusher Ride and Bulk Up to turn Smaug into a lethal flying threat while continuing to bank Treasures. Removal spells like Abrade and Desolation of Smaug clear utility blockers and preserve combat tempo. Without Smaug, alternate token engines like Draconic Visitor and Krenko, Mob Boss convert the board into a secondary win condition. The list is best suited for casual battlecruiser environments where combat-oriented burn can operate without facing heavy stack interaction.
