Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Superfriends control strategy led by Commodore Guff. Its core strategy revolves around establishing a secure pillowfort defense through cards like Pramikon, Sky Rampart, Archon of Absolution, and Silent Arbiter while developing mana rocks and planeswalkers. Once a defensive perimeter is established, the deck rapidly deploys high-impact planeswalkers that generate tokens, draw cards, and control opposing boards through asymmetric sweepers like Urza's Ruinous Blast. Teferi, Time Raveler and Narset, Parter of Veils act as powerful proactive stax pieces that lock out opposing interaction and extra card draw. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through group-wide direct damage from Commodore Guff and Chandra, Legacy of Fire, or by turning all planeswalkers into flying 4/4 Dragons with Sarkhan the Masterless. With high redundancy across planeswalker slots, it maintains resilience against targeted removal and engine wipes.
