Deck overview

This is a five-color token-and-+1/+1-counter deck piloted by the partner pair Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart. Michelangelo, the Heart is a cheap early attacker whose Raid trigger creates a Food token and a counter every turn, while Leonardo, the Balance converts any token entering the battlefield into a once-per-turn global +1/+1 counter engine and can later give the whole team menace, trample, and lifelink. The 99 multiplies that core loop with token doublers like Doubling Season and Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, counter multipliers like Corpsejack Menace and Branching Evolution, and a critical mass of token generators such as Tendershoot Dryad, Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Elspeth, Sun's Champion, and Academy Manufactor. The deck wins through combat: a huge trampling board, Shredder, Shadow Master halving all opponents' life, Raphael, the Muscle doubling damage, or a Tooth and Nail entwine into Vigor and Siege Behemoth.
