Deck overview

This is a Sultai counter-and-token combo deck helmed by Xavier Sal, Infested Captain, built to weaponize his two activated abilities: populate (copy a creature token) and proliferate (spread counters). The deck generates creature tokens through Scurry Oak, Basking Broodscale, Toxrill, the Corrosive, Teval, the Balanced Scale, and a suite of cloning spells, then converts them into infinite loops. The primary win conditions are infinite token generation feeding Altar of the Brood (mill), Phenax, God of Deception (mill), or Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord (drain), with proliferate as a poison/counter kill via Venser, Corpse Puppet and Vraska, Betrayal's Sting. Secondary paths include Eldrazi beatdown (Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre) and graveyard-matters value through Breach the Multiverse and the Sheoldred // The True Scriptures saga.
