Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov midrange beatdown strategy commanded by Ardbert, Warrior of Darkness. It leverages a dense suite of cheap legendary creatures and multicolored white-black spells. Because every Orzhov spell is both white and black, each cast triggers Ardbert twice, placing two +1/+1 counters on every legendary creature while granting vigilance and menace. The deck curves low-cost legendary creatures into Ardbert on Turn 3, expanding the board on Turn 4 and threatening lethal combat pressure by Turn 5. The deck is supported by efficient instant-speed spot removal that exiles opposing threats, broad sweepers, and minor aristocrat life-drain triggers. Its primary game plan is fair combat damage, making it resilient in regular multiplayer play but dependent on untapping over multiple turns to eliminate all three opponents.
