Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius artifact midrange and token swarm strategy led by Mendicant Core, Guidelight. It leverages low-cost mana rocks, artifact cost-reducers like Etherium Sculptor, and artifact lands to establish an early acceleration base. By Turn 4, the deck deploys potent token generation engines such as Simulacrum Synthesizer, Thousand Moons Smithy // Barracks of the Thousand, and Sai, Master Thopterist. These permanents convert subsequent artifact casts into growing armies of flying Thopters and scaling Construct tokens. Around Turn 6, the deck converts this wide and tall board presence into a decisive threat using mass finishers like Cyberdrive Awakener, the City's Blessing anthem from Illustrious Wanderglyph, or tall beaters such as Master of Etherium and Kappa Cannoneer. A robust defensive suite featuring Clever Concealment, Padeem, Consul of Innovation, Bronze Guardian, and Myrel, Shield of Argive protects the board from removal and sweepers while combat damage closes out the game over two attack cycles by Turn 8.
