Deck overview

This Golgari deck is led by Dina, Essence Brewer, focusing on an aristocrats and lifegain midrange strategy. The game plan centers on assembling token generators such as Ophiomancer, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and Blight Mound alongside sacrifice outlets to trigger Dina's card-draw engine and life-gain abilities. The deck grinds value through cards like Moldervine Reclamation and Morbid Opportunist while applying incremental life drain via Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Dina, Soul Steeper. In the mid-to-late game, it pivots into a lethal threat using mass pump effects from Blossoming Bogbeast or Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest, backed by game-ending spells like Plumb the Forbidden and Exsanguinate. While the deck excels at resource generation and board-based attrition, its lack of nonland tutors and instant-speed stack interaction leaves it reliant on natural synergy draws and vulnerable to well-timed mass exile sweepers.
