Yuma 2 by kaosthry

Format: Commander

Commander: Yuma, Proud Protector

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Yuma, Proud Protector leads a Naya lands-matter deck that treats lands as a renewable resource: it fetches, cycles, and sacrifices Deserts to lower Yuma's cost, keep the hand full, and spawn 4/2 Plant Warriors. The secondary plan is a token/landfall engine using Field of the Dead, Scute Swarm, Felidar Retreat, and Ojer Taq to go wide, then finish with Craterhoof Behemoth, Finale of Devastation, Triumph of the Hordes, or Purphoros's enter triggers. Yuma is both a draw engine and a token factory, but the deck can run on backup engines such as Titania and Ancient Greenwarden if he is answered. The primary plan is value buildup followed by a single massive overrun turn.
