Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Naya landfall engine led by Hazezon, Shaper of Sand. It converts Deserts into continuous creature production, mana velocity, and direct damage. The game plan focuses on deploying Hazezon early, cycling and sacrificing utility Deserts, and replaying them from the graveyard to create wide armies of Sand Warrior tokens. The deck accelerates through dense 1-2 CMC ramp and land tutors before casting explosive mass-landfall cards like Scapeshift and Aftermath Analyst. Winning lines leverage mass token swarms pumped by Moonshaker Cavalry or direct burn triggers from Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors. It also features an infinite token combo with Kodama of the East Tree and Arid Archway. The deck maintains excellent resilience through land recursion and efficient targeted protection like Sylvan Safekeeper.
