Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mono-Black Zombie Aristocrats list commanded by Liliana, Heretical Healer. The primary strategy focuses on assembling recursive sacrifice engines that drain opponents while controlling the battlefield. The deck smoothly ramps into Turn 4 to flip Liliana or deploy key combo enablers like Warren Soultrader. By Turn 5, it threatens a decisive finish using an infinite life-drain loop with Warren Soultrader, Gravecrawler, and a death-trigger payoff like Blood Artist or Bastion of Remembrance. In slower games, asymmetric attrition from Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, and Maha, Its Feathers Night strips away opposing creatures while Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Bolas's Citadel, and wide Zombie lord beatdowns provide robust alternate win conditions. Abundant low-cost reanimation spells ensure rapid recovery against spot removal and board wipes.
