Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Zombie Tribal and Aristocrats strategy led by Varina, Lich Queen. It focuses on curving out with efficient early Zombies, deploying Varina to sculpt the hand and fill the graveyard through aggressive combat looting, and converting excess cards into a wide Zombie token army. The deck transitions into the midgame by granting its swarm evasion and buffs through lords like Eternal Skylord, Lord of the Accursed, and Lost Monarch of Ifnir, while punishing opposing blocks and sweepers with aristocrat drain effects from Wayward Servant, Corpse Knight, Diregraf Captain, and Vengeful Dead. High-grade removal such as Void Rend, Anguished Unmaking, and Toxic Deluge allows the pilot to keep fast threats in check while maintaining continuous board presence. The deck closes games through overwhelming evasive combat damage backed by unavoidable life drain.
