Jon’s Dimir Control Deck by cosmic

Format: Commander

Commander: Sygg, River Cutthroat

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sygg, River Cutthroat forms a Dimir value-control deck that trades one-for-one early, then converts incremental damage into a stream of extra cards. The commander is a cheap, resilient draw engine, not a finisher; the deck triggers him with Loyal Subordinate, goad auras, Archnemesis, and Talion. The primary plan is to stabilize with counterspells, wipes, and forced combat, then close with a large Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate. Psychosis Crawler and Notion Thief provide alternate drain/value routes, while Hullbreaker Horror and Bribery offer late-game dominance. No hidden commander exists; every card supports Sygg's trigger or the controlling finish.
