Goblin Grinders by Phoenix_Mercer

Format: Commander

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The Great Goblin is a counters-and-death payoff: every +1/+1 or amass counter placed on a Goblin, Orc, or Army you control deals 2 damage, and every such death exiles the top card for impulse advantage. The primary plan is to assemble a persist loop with an enabler such as First Day of Class, Metallic Mimic, or Thran Vigil plus Putrid Goblin or Murderous Redcap and a sacrifice outlet, converting each loop into lethal commander triggers. Secondary plans are Krenko go-wide with haste and Impact Tremors, death-ping damage from Pashalik Mons and Goblin Bombardment, and storming into Empty the Warrens. Krenko, Mob Boss is the pseudo-commander for the token plan; the hidden commander Grub, Storied Matriarch // Grub, Notorious Auntie recurs goblins on the front and makes attacking copies on the back, feeding both counter and death triggers.
