Deck overview

This mono-red deck is commanded by Goro-Goro, Disciple of Ryusei, aiming to combine fast modified-creature aggression, Goblin swarms, and massive 5/5 flying Dragon Spirit generation. The deck curves out early with low-cost equipment like Bloodforged Battle-Axe and Lizard Blades to ensure attacking creatures are modified. Once operational, attacking with a modified creature enables Goro-Goro's ability to create 5/5 flying Dragon Spirit tokens for {3}{R}{R}. High-impact payoffs such as Dragon Tempest, Terror of the Peaks, and General Kreat, the Boltbringer convert these token entries into immediate direct damage against opponents. In prolonged games, the list can execute infinite combat steps via Aggravated Assault combined with Sword of Feast and Famine or Neheb, the Eternal. While vulnerable to mass board sweepers and lacking enchantment removal, the deck maintains consistent combat velocity through built-in team haste.
