Deck overview

The Madcap Jester is a theft-and-mill commander who turns every opponent's library into your hand. The deck's primary plan is to attack with The Madcap Jester to exile cards, then cast those cards with mana of any color, generating extra value through paradox triggers, treasure, and token makers. Secondary paths include stealing permanents with Arvinox and Ashiok, grinding with Prosper and Stolen Strategy, and finishing with Flaming Tyrannosaurus or Keeper of Secrets. The deck is built to use The Madcap Jester's attack trigger as the main engine, with the back half of the card (the exile-play ability) being the core payoff. The deck is not a fast combo deck; it wins through incremental card advantage, board presence, and eventually overwhelming opponents with their own cards plus token armies.
